Punjab Ramadan Rashan Package Payment Distribution Date Announced
The Punjab government has launched the Neghban Ramzan Package. This scheme will provide financial assistance and free rations are provided to deserving families during Ramadan. This year, under the guidance of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the government has switched from providing free rations to offering a financial assistance of Rs 10,000 to eligible families.
Payment Details
Eligible families who have completed their registration in the PSER survey will receive a pay order of Rs 10,000. This assistance will be distributed within the first ten days of Ramadan. If you are eligible, you will receive an SMS from 9999 with instructions on how to collect the payment.
Withdrawal Process
To withdraw the Rs 10,000, eligible individuals must visit their nearest Bank Alfalah, HPL, or Omni Bank with their pay order. After verifying their thumbprints, the bank will cash the pay order. The payment will only be issued to the person whose name appears on the pay order, so eligible women should be the ones to go to the bank.
Money orders are started to distribute among people from 25 Feb 2025.
Eligibility
Women from poor families who have completed the PSER registration process and have been verified by the Punjab government are eligible for this financial assistance. The Rs 10,000 pay order will be delivered to their homes during the first ten days of Ramadan.
